Welcome
‘The Outfit’ consists of 3 Musicians:
Mr. K.
Mr K starting singing in his first band when he was just 15 years old! Playing in bars and clubs (Where he was too young to have a beer in!!) with a 4-piece band called ‘Good Company’ is where Mr K learnt his craft at an early age. At the age of 17 the band recruited 2 new members and re-formed as ‘Common People’ a 6-piece live act that played 2-3 times per week for nearly 7 years. The band had a devoted following and played all across the North from open-air festivals to huge New Years Eve functions. After the demise of live music in the 90’s the band were forced to break up and Mr K joined popular dance act ‘Face 2 Face’ as a co-lead singer. Although he had great times and gained a lot of experience, his heart was always going to be in the ‘Live’ music scene so he re-united with guitarist Mr B and formed ‘Two-in-the-bush’ a small but popular cover band specialising in lounges and small bars (Including a 3 month residency in San Antonio, Ibiza!!) With the return to popularity of the bigger band scene Mr D came on-board and ‘The Outfit’ was formed and has been going strong for over 3 years.
Mr. B.
Mr B is one of the most talented and natural lead guitarists in the Province with over 17 years experience playing in live bands. Mr B is the ultimate perfectionist, in tone and in performance and it shows on stage! Growing up listening to Pink Floyd and Dire Straits there was only one instrument he was going to end up mastering. He joined ‘Common People’ shortly after they formed and the difference to the bands sound was there for all to hear, so much so that many bars re-booked the band due to people coming solely to see Mr B! After the break up he continued to play in various bands (and session musician) before re-uniting with Mr K in ‘Two-in-the-bush’. Mr B has also been teaching the guitar to both beginners and accomplished players alike for nearly 3 years and has became extremely accomplished in Computer based recording and editing.
Mr. D.
Mr D played his first Keyboard (well, organ in those days!) on his 4th birthday and has not looked back since! His talent and passion have won him many followers and admirers of all ages. Mr D was just 10 years old when he was backing singers and playing in clubs with his wonderful musician Parents in the 80’s. The experience and knowledge built up over those years was priceless as he joined his first band with Mr K at just 15 years old. The level of professionalism and dedication to his craft added another dimension to his new band ‘Common People’ when he joined aged 17. As well a being a gigging musician Mr D expanded his knowledge through studying music at A-Level. After the break up of ‘Common People’ Mr D continued playing as a session Keyboardist for many projects including a large solo portfolio of impressive pieces as well as musical contributions for many successful shows. He re-united with his musician friends for ‘The Outfit’ and his unique blend of flamboyant leads and perfect harmonies are there for all to see.
